Our Curriculum

Three World-Class Pathways. One School.

At IAS International School, we offer two internationally recognized secondary curricula for students in Grades 9 to 12. Both are certified and recognized in the USA and Canada respectively, and open the door to university admissions abroad.

Understanding Credits

How Credits Work at IAS

1

Credit per completed course

6-8

Credits earned per year

24

Credits needed for university admission

Students earn credits by successfully completing approved courses. Each completed course normally counts as one credit, and the school tracks progress so every student understands what they have completed and what remains.

Students generally plan around 24 credits for graduation and university admission readiness. Exact requirements can vary by pathway, so IAS academic advisors review each student's plan before finalizing course selections.

Yes. Because IAS works with recognized US and Canadian partners, credits and transcripts are designed to support international transfer. The receiving school or university makes the final transfer decision.

Students joining in Grade 10 or 11 receive an individual credit review. Advisors compare previous study with IAS pathway requirements, then build a course plan that helps the student stay on track without unnecessary overload.
